Notion

• Notion serves as our company wiki and includes Meeting Notes, tasks, strategy docs, project management, etc. We use it to decrease repetitive communication and align the team in a remote-first setting. If you have to repeat it twice - it should be in Notion.

• Internal Conversations. If you can get a vendor/outside partner to use connected accounts - always go for it.
• We love to keep conversations in public channels to boost transparency, encourage collaboration, and foster learning. It might feel a bit different at first, and you might even see some lively debates—but hey, that’s passion in action!
• Use Private Messages for Private Matters
  • Use direct messages for sensitive or personal information.
  • Use for chit-chat to bond with your teammates.
• We report monthly at all hands who are using Slack DMs least.

Linear

• Used by engineering to track their work
• Rest of team uses to file bugs and track status of bug fixes

Zoom

• Our standard videoconference solution for big meetings or external meetings.

• We use 1Password to generate and securely store strong passwords and retrieve them on-demand.

• Used to share how-to videos or quick questions when writing is difficult.
