Coordinate with your team to ensure proper coverage during your absence. General rule: There must be at least one appropriate team member working and able to cover for you. Please make sure you check that they are not already covering for someone else and that they are able to cover you (e.g. their current workload is not too high). To check if a team member is already out of the office, refer to our shared OOO Google Calendar (use this link to subscribe to our OOO calendar).
For time off that is less than a full day (e.g., doctor’s appointments, need to pick up kids, etc.), just block off your personal Filmhub calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure coverage if needed. There is no need to submit it via Rippling.
If you take one full day off or more, add your time off in Rippling.
We have six different time off categories. Select the one that applies to your time off. For vacation time and national holidays, use the “vacation and holiday” category.
Your time off is automatically approved and will be visible on our shared OOO calendar. For extended vacations (5+ days), add your time off at least four weeks in advance into Rippling or earlier.
